TechIssueGuide is an independent technology-help publication. We explain common computer, browser, internet and phone problems in plain English and show you how to fix them.

What we cover

Our focus is the everyday problems people actually search for: Wi-Fi that connects but has no internet, a browser that won’t load pages, a Windows update that fails, a phone that won’t verify an update, and the specific error codes behind them. Each guide leads with a short direct answer, then walks through the fix step by step.

How our guides are written and reviewed

Written and fact-checked by the TechIssueGuide editorial team. We test each set of steps on current versions of Windows, macOS, Android, iOS and the major browsers before publishing, and review guides regularly to keep them accurate.

  • We test each set of steps on current versions of Windows 10, Windows 11, macOS, Android, iOS and the major browsers before publishing.
  • Where the interface differs between Windows 10 and Windows 11, we give both paths.
  • We prefer built-in, documented tools over third-party “repair” or “optimizer” software, and we say so when a step carries any risk.
  • Every guide shows a “last reviewed” date. When an operating system or app changes something we cover, we revise the guide and update that date.

What we don’t do

We don’t publish fake ratings, invented author credentials, made-up statistics, or exaggerated promises like “guaranteed fix”. If a problem can’t reliably be solved at home, we say that and point you to the right next step.

How the site is funded

TechIssueGuide is free to read and supported by advertising. Ads are kept clearly separate from guide content and never placed inside step-by-step instructions in a way that could confuse them for a step. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising and analytics cookies are used.
